"The Bird" - a mock up model scale 1:1 of the proposed new entrance to The Royal Theatre, Copenhagen.

Dimensions 32,00m * 17,50m * 7,50m - 16 tons.

Due to the extreeme dimensions and "sail area" lifting of the model was only allowed with wind force below 3 meter per second, wherefore the untraditional solution with a 2 parallel connected trucks/trailers was chosen.

Transportation and methode made by LINCO-FREIGHT

The "Bird" was transported on barge from Poland to the port of Copenhagen.

After arrival in front of The Royal Theatre  - a 44 meter high lift in the air over the roofs was necessary.
